We are preempting the Worst Comic Ever for commentary on video games!

Try to control yourself... birch.

May 11, 2004 was one of the greatest days in videogame history. The Nintendo DS was revealed, fully playable, to an audience that was shocked and/or awed by Nintendo's originality and genius.

Just then! Sony's PlayStation Portable was unveiled with a fanfare fit for THE NEW KING OF PORTABLE GAMES! (Fanfare can be heard here and was copied from a GameSpot.com video for educational purposes. Class, DO NOT EVER USE MUSIC LIKE THIS AND EXPECT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY)

Let us get to the commentary and doctored photos.

PSP

Ummm....yeah, let's get to it.

Photo 1: The front face...OF DEATH!

Photo2: Carpal Tunnel for the Eyes (tm)

Photo 3: Questions and Answer!

Photo 4: Unbelievable.

Photo 5: The Cost of Being So Hip

Photo 6: The picture of the unveiling! (Again, the theme music playing)

Now on to N-dogg

NINTENDO DS

Mere words do not do this machine justice, but there are very few official, high quality pictures. Unlike the PSP this is not the final version cosmetically. Nintendo worked on the functionality first, and that is no small task seeing as how this has technology that has never been included in a game system before.

I got one picture of it for you. Here it is. Click on the picture to see it full size.

Photo 7: I have nothing bad to say about the DS. I'm in shock about that too.

Now on to the comparison!
